              Speech Pathology

Our speech pathologists assess a child's language and speech capabilities and provide therapy services to treat any difficulties a child may have.

How can speech pathology help my child?
Speech Pathologists help children communicate.  We help a child express and understand language. We make sure that their speech is clear and developing as we would expect for their age. We also support chidlren with their literacy development, from basic phonological awareness skills to more complex areas.

Communication is an essential skill but it can be tricky for some children. Speech Pathology can make it easier - whether it is the speech sounds, comprehension or creating sentences to communicate. Our Speech Pathologists also work with children having difficulty with feeding and voice, and we see children with specific diagnoses such as those on the Autism spectrum, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, hearing impairment etc.
