Allocation of Clients to Therapists Policy

Next Challenge maintains a staff of dedicated therapists with a range of clinical skills. Clients are allocated to the clinician who will best meet their needs, within limits of availability. Where Next Challenge has no therapists with the necessary skills for a client’s needs they will be supported to find an alternative service provider that meets their needs.

Whenever possible clients will remain with their allocated clinician for the duration of their management by Next Challenge.

Clients will change clinicians if:
  • The clinician is not available on the days the client is available for appointments.
  • The needs of the client are better met by a different clinician.

Next Challenge acknowledges (ana) Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country (Boodja) throughout Australia. We (Ngalak) are committed to honouring, seeing, and understanding (kootadjinong) their unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waterways (bilya), and seas (wardarn).

Next Challenge wants to thank and pay respects to the Whadjuk people and Elders, past, present, and emerging, of the Noongar Nation, who have preserved and protected the land (kanana) and waterways (bilya) on which we continue to play (waabiny), live (djooroobidiny), learn (kadadjiny), work, and provide services on today (yey).
