Ready Rocket Kids Workshop: October School Holidays 2025


​Want to help your child learn to regulate their emotions?


Next Challenge offers Ready Rocket Workshops, designed to help kids understand and manage their emotions in a fun and practical way.

Using concepts from the books The Galaxy Guide to Running My Rocket: A Journey Through Emotions and Space!, children will explore their feelings and energy levels, and learn strategies to navigate them throughout the day.

​Who is it for?
  • Children aged 5-12 years
  • Kids who can participate in a group environment (able to follow instructions, answer questions, and ask for help when needed)

When?
This 5-session group program will run during the October School Holidays at 11:00am–12:00pm on the following dates:
  1. Tuesday 30th September
  2. Wednesday 1st October
  3. Monday 6th October
  4. Tuesday 7th October
  5. Wednesday 8th October

Required
  • 5 x direct group sessions ($95.00 per session)
  • Galaxy Guide Book set: $60.45 (incl. GST)
Recommended
  • All About Emotions Online Parent Workshop: $54.99 (incl. GST)
    • 4 hours, self-paced learning
    • This workshop provides an overview of the theory and research behind emotional regulation, and explains how we will draw on concepts from the Galaxy Guide book during group sessions.

Parking Options
  • Clinic car bays (if available)
  • 2-hour parking at the bottom of Baden Street cul-de-sac
  • Street parking along Waterloo Street
