Ready Rocket Kids Workshop: January 2025

Want to help your child learn to regulate their emotions?

​Next Challenge regularly offers the Ready Rocket resources workshops for kids, helping them learn all about their emotions! The Ready Rocket workshops support kids to learn practical strategies to navigate their emotions and energy levels throughout the day, using concepts and ideas from the books - The Galaxy Guide to Running My Rocket: A Journey Through Emotions and Space!

For age range:

• Suitable for kids aged 5-12 who have the capacity to participate in a group environment (i.e. can follow instructions, answer questions and ask for help if required)

Dates/days:
This group will run over 5 sessions at 10:30am-11:30am on the following dates;

January School Holiday Break:

1. Monday: 13th January
2. Tuesday: 14th January
3. Wednesday: 15th January
4. Monday: 20th January
5. Tuesday: 21st January

PLUS parents will have access to a 2-hour online parent workshop to watch at their leisure, which includes information about the theory and research behind emotional regulation, and how we will use concepts from the book during the group sessions.

Cost:

• $95 per session (Private, Self-Managed, and Plan-Managed)
• Your copy of the Galaxy Guide 2-book pack: $54.95
• Access to All About Emotions - Parent Online Workshop: $49.99 (4 hours, self-paced)
• Total costs: $579.94

*Please note, if the clinic parking spaces are taken, you can also park:
- In the 2 hours parking at the bottom of the Baden St cul de sac
- Along Waterloo Street
