Service Meetings at Next Challenge

Your Service Manager is a team member who will be a key support person for you while you are receiving services from Next Challenge.

They will provide information on:
  • What services Next Challenge can offer your family
  • The different ways Next Challenge provides services and their therapy approaches
  • Collect information from you about your previous therapy or current services you may be accessing
  • Talk to you about your child’s strengths, interests, activities and other important people in their life
  • Discuss how we create a ‘Service Agreement’ that meets your therapy needs and work towards the goals in your child's NDIS plan

The Service Manager will gather all the information you provide and share it with the therapy team. This way, you won't have to repeat yourself during therapy sessions. Your Service Manager will also contact you from time to time to check in on your child's progress, talk about any changes, and address any concerns you may have. If you need to make any complaints or changes to your child's therapy plan, your Service Manager can help to address and manage these with your therapy team.

Service Meetings ensure we maintain a collaborative approach that fosters stronger relationships between us and families, resulting in more productive and successful outcomes. We strive to provide effective guidance that helps build confidence as you work towards your goals together with your therapy team; by planning and setting goals collaboratively, we build a solid plan to help support you and your child for the year ahead.

Next Challenge acknowledges (ana) Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country (Boodja) throughout Australia. We (Ngalak) are committed to honouring, seeing, and understanding (kootadjinong) their unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waterways (bilya), and seas (wardarn).

Next Challenge wants to thank and pay respects to the Whadjuk people and Elders, past, present, and emerging, of the Noongar Nation, who have preserved and protected the land (kanana) and waterways (bilya) on which we continue to play (waabiny), live (djooroobidiny), learn (kadadjiny), work, and provide services on today (yey).
