​In this presentation, Kendra Bell-Hayes outlines her assessment strategies to explore underlying immature feeding patterns that may be contributing to the speech presentation. She demonstrates the strategies to establish the child's mature swallowing and eating pattern. Changes to the swallowing and eating pattern can significantly support improved speech quality, when an immature pattern is present.
