Our therapists are experienced and passionate about working with children and have a strong commitment to continued professional development, in order to provide the most up to date, evidence based therapy services for your child. We think outside the box and offer family-centered, holistic therapy services.
All services can be delivered individually or as part of a team treatment session, directly or as part of a monitored program in rural and remote areas, interstate or overseas.
Our services are flexible, supportive and affordable and private health fund rebates apply. Please check with your private health fund provider for rebate rates. We are also able to offer services under the Medicare rebate scheme as part of a Chronic Disease Management multidisciplinary care plan. Contact your local GP for more information.
If you are accessing services at Next Challenge using DSC, Helping Children with Autism, Better Start or National Disability Insurance Scheme funding, you will attend a Navigation session. A Navigation is a meeting between the Navigator (a staff member at Next Challenge) and your family. The Navigator will work with your family to ascertain your family's need for therapy services, discuss your child's current needs and the best way to promote their skills. The Navigator will remain a key contact person to assist your family to negotiate changes in programs and to evaluate Next Challenge services. Regular Navigation reviews allow us to continually improve our service based on family feedback, and ensure we are always meeting your family's needs.
Sessions
Our therapists can see your child at their school, at your home or at our well-resourced and family friendly clinic in Osborne Park. We offer short (20 minutes) and long (45 minutes) therapy sessions at a frequency that suits you and your child's needs, lifestyle and budget.
Each child's therapy program is individualised and we work in partnership with your family to give your child the best opportunity to succeed. We can put together home and school programs as well as regular home practice ideas to keep your child on track.
