Ready Rocket Workshop

Want to help your child learn to regulate their emotions? Next Challenge regularly offers the Ready Rocket resources workshops for kids, helping them learn all about their emotions! The Ready Rocket workshops support kids to learn practical strategies to navigate their emotions and energy levels throughout the day, using concepts and ideas from the books - The Galaxy Guide to Running My Rocket: A Journey Through Emotions and Space!

For age range:

• Suitable for kids aged 5-12 who have the capacity to participate in a group environment (ie. can follow instructions, answer questions and ask for help if required)

Dates/days:

• 5x weekly clinic based sessions (child only, parents to wait in reception), after school hours or during the school holidays.
• PLUS parents will have access to a 2-hour online parent workshop to watch at their leisure, which includes information about the theory and research behind emotional regulation, and how we will use concepts from the book during the group sessions.

Cost:

• $85 per session (private & self- managed NDIS)
• $95 per session (NDIS plan-managed)
• Your copy of the Galaxy Guide 2-book pack: $49.95
• Access to the 2-hour online parent workshop: $49.95
• Total costs: $524.90 (private or self managed); $574.90 (plan managed)
