NDIS - Key Supports, Roles + Responsibilities

The National Disability Insurance Agency, The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is responsible for determining NDIS eligibility and funding allocation based on the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act.
Find out more about NDIS for families & caregivers here: https://www.ndis.gov.au/understanding/families-and-carers
EARLY CHILDHOOD EARLY INTERVENTION COORDINATORS, Children aged 0-9 with disabilities or developmental delays may receive support from ECEI Coordinators via Wanslea. ECEI coordinators provide specific support to families to help children reach their developmental milestones.
LOCAL AREA COORDINATOR

SUPPORT COORDINATOR
A Support Coordinator can help you connect with community and therapy services and help coordinate them based on your NDIS goals. The level of Support Coordination varies depending on your situation is.
PLAN MANAGER
With a Plan Manager, you can choose therapy services from both registered and/or unregistered providers. The manager will handle your NDIS invoices and guide you on how to use your plan. Plan Management is an extra support that's funded separately on your NDIS plan.
