The team at Next Challenge is proud to provide a variety of expert therapeutic services, designed to offer every child the best opportunity to succeed. At Next Challenge, children and their families have access to speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and psychology. Our team specialises in family-centred practice, where we work closely with families to set goals and identity the services that will best suit each individual child.
Next Challenge also offers allied health and teaching support services, through our affiliate partners at Enhancing Learning. Neither of these organisations would be what they are today, without the continuous support of our local community – encompassing children, their families, educators, therapists and other professional services. We would like to acknowledge a recent contribution from our friends at Vuly Play, who have generously donated an Ultra Medium Trampoline valued at $849. This Australian made trampoline has been specially designed with child safety as the number one priority. It includes an array of advanced safety features, including a tightly woven no-gap enclosure, springs that are totally external to the trampoline structure, and a self-closing entry. The Ultra Medium Trampoline will be an excellent addition to the equipment we use at Next Challenge, in conjunction with Enhancing Learning. The trampoline will supply a much-needed resource to assist children in enhancing gross motor skills, spatial awareness and coordination. In addition, the trampoline will offer a source of sensory feedback that can allow a child to self-regulate, and either calm or re-energise their emotional state. When a child is well-regulated, this also has added benefits for the other professional therapies that our team can offer. Thank you Vuly Play for your kind donation. We can't wait to see the benefits this trampoline will bring to the children and families we work within our Mandurah centre! Exciting news!
