Holiday Boardgames Club

This group will focus on:
  • Introducing your child to new children their age, to support friendship building outside of their school community
  • Opportunities to discuss their special interests and understanding of their neurodiversity with other neurodivergent children
  • Practicing advocating for their regulation and learning needs in a group setting
  • Learning the rules and strategies of common boardgames

Please note - this group is intended for neurodivergent children who are aware of their diagnoses, or children who are not, but their caregivers are comfortable with them engaging in discussions about neurodiversity.If your child is not aware of their diagnosis, but you are interested in learning more about sharing this with them, please complete this form and we will aim to offer a parent workshop on this topic!
Neurotypical children are welcome in this group!

Age:
  • Year 4-6 (if your child is slightly younger/older, but you think this group could be a good fit, you are welcome to complete an EOI)

Day/Times:
4 x hour long sessions (2nd week school holidays)
  • Monday 17th April - 1:00-2:00pm
  • Tuesday 18th April - 1:00-2:00pm
  • Thursday 20th April - 1:00-2:00pm
  • Friday 21st April - 1:00-2:00pm
If you are only available for some of these sessions, please tell us which you can make it to in the 'questions' box of the form below, as we might be able to offer your child a place just for these sessions.

Location:
  • Osborne Park clinic (Unit 4/14 Main Street, Osborne Park, 6017)

Cost:
  • $85 (private/self managed NDIS) per session
  • $95 (Plan managed NDIS) per session

Please note, this form is not confirmation of your child's participation in the group. We need to make sure there are enough families interested before the group can run, and ensure that this group would meet your child's needs. You will be contacted by the due date above about whether your child is offered a place in this group, or put on a waitlist for the next time the group runs
