Employee Performance Policy

Next Challenge requires all employees to continually improve their level of performance of their skills and duties to support the company vision and best deliver services to the community. Performance is supported and enhanced by the following company standards:
  • Provision of a formal induction procedure for all organisation employees and volunteers.
  • Provision of necessary basic training for all organisation employees and volunteers including Occupational Health and Safety and Emergency Preparedness.
  • Allocation of a Clinical Specialist to each employee or Manager for Senior employees.
  • Training of each Clinical Specialist/ Manager in the role and processes to complete their supervision duties including the requirement for written documentation records to be maintained. Performance is monitored against the company duty requirements based on this schedule.
  • Identification of further training and development opportunities for individual employees through the formal supervision process conducted by Clinical Specialist according to the company schedule of supervision and performance review.
  • Provision of a dedicated professional development budget and an extensive internal training system.
  • Provision of an annual Professional Performance Enhancement Program (P-PEP) © Interview and review schedule to identify current strengths and areas for development based on the employee’s current work context and personal performance plan.
  • Expectation that all employees maintain their professional associations and/or registration professional development requirements with the provision of proof of this registration audited annually.

Next Challenge maintains an Employee Record for all organisation employees and volunteers which includes training goals, actual training undertaken and subsequent work gains. This system endeavours to ensure all therapy employees are providing evidence-based practices at all times.
